Recurd is built to be private. We don't ask you to create an account, we don't connect to your bank, and we don't sell your data.
The subscriptions you add — names, prices, billing dates, categories, notes — are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to us or anyone else.
If you use the optional "scan a screenshot" feature, text recognition (OCR) runs on your device. Only the extracted text (not the image) is sent to our processing endpoint to identify the service, amount and billing cycle. That text is processed in memory to return the result and is not stored by us, and is never used for advertising.
Optional Pro subscriptions are handled by Apple and our payments provider (RevenueCat). We receive purchase status (active / not active) to unlock Pro features. We do not receive your payment details.
Renewal reminders are scheduled locally on your device. They are not sent from a server.
We do not build personal profiles, do not track you across apps, and do not run third-party advertising SDKs.
